Moot Court

It is an indispensable part of legal education which gives students distinguished identity after they enter the real time legal profession. Moot Court is mandatory under the rules of BCI for regular LLB course.

BJSRLC has separate Moot Court Committee consisting of faculty members brewing the students for the representation in the court. Civil and Criminal cases, National and International level are practiced and performed in Moot Court. Interaction of the students of BJSRLC with the practicing Advocates of Supreme Court, High Court and District Court motivates them and enhances their practical knowledge.

BJSRLC has a separate Moot Court Hall which is equipped with all the required infrastructure for conduction of Moot Court competition, the ambience of BJS Moot Court hall has in-housed books, bare acts, commentaries, properly arranged podiums, Statue of lady Justice, images of the preamble of Constitution, etc. which encourages the students for participation.

The Moot Court committee at BJSRLC has the onus of informing the prospective students of BJSRLC with regard to upcoming moot court competitions. Then the students are trained hard by the faculties for the same. The committee also has collaboration with various other law colleges to keep pace with the modern development and techniques in the area of Moot Court presentation.
